Title: Business Development Director

Location: Anywhere, US – Remote – Travel


Our client is an industry leading Payments provider and is looking for a Business Development Director to recruit and develop new Independent Sales Organizations (ISOs), Agents, ISVs, and other strategic partnerships. The Business Development Director plays a key role in the process from attending industry events, negotiating contracts, to activated new sales partners.


  • Recruit and develop ISOs, ISVs, agents, and other strategic partners
  • Maintain relationships with new and potential partners to promote company’s value proposition and brand image
  • Research organizations and individuals online (utilizing social media) to identify new leads
  • Contact potential customers via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
  • Grow a network of prospects to acquire new sales partners and develop strong relationships
  • Increase revenue within existing accounts
  • Sign, activate and grow sales partners; achieving, or exceeding quotas
  • Understand product and services of company and affiliates
  • Knowledgeable of company advertising campaigns, media events, and industry conferences


  • Payments experience including recruiting partners, agents, or ISOs
  • Strong pipeline or portfolio
  • Track record of growing revenues
  • Self-Motivated to exceed quotas
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
