Title: ISV Business Development Manager

Location: Dallas, TX preferred, but can be remote

Overview:

ISV Business Development Manager (BDM) needed for our Client, an Integrated Payments Company, to act as an advisor offering solutions to meet sales growth goals, develop and implement marketing plans, and develop business plans and strategies in cooperation with Client’s partners to deliver revenue results. This BDM will prospect new revenue opportunities and will be responsible for furthering the growth of existing Client’s partners. This requires a thorough knowledge of the market and the ability to work closely with Senior Level Management, and the Marketing, Sales and Technology departments. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage new Client’s partners, ensuring a seamless transition of new business opportunities from implementation to onboarding
  • Be a reliable advisor to current partners by understanding their business drivers, organizational imperatives, customer experience challenges, and offering improved solutions
  • Self-source and develop leads for new business generation from existing partners, daily prospecting, and proactive lead follow-up
  • Develop and implement marketing plans, business plans and strategies with partner/clients to produce revenue results
  • Support all stages of the sales process, maintain sales control and guide internal teams to collaborate and rally around development of innovative solutions to meet or exceed identified sales targets
  • Meet aggressive sale growth foals while managing a reliable pipeline and forecasting responsibilities
  • Provide solution to complex client issues that produce mutually positive business outcomes
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with decision makers in client organizations to secure new business new client account and maximize the value delivered by Client’s solutions
  • Engage regular communication with partner/clients (monthly metrics discussion, regular scheduled strategic focused calls and meetings)

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience in business management and/or sales position preferred
  • Ability to provide business leadership, communicate clearly, and leverage new business opportunities
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and motivate others
  • Understanding of various merchant verticals and the differing needs relating to each vertical
  • Experience with working in a matrix environment
  • Knowledge of persuasive win themes and effective sales strategies
  • Proven track record in a similar role with clear evidence of execution
  • Ability to manage complex negotiations with third parties
  • Experience in Fintech, Payments or SaaS software
  • Bachelor’s degree
