Title: VP Sales

Location: Remote – US (Denver, Atlanta)

Overview:

The VP Sales‘ primary responsibility is to establish new relationships and promote the company’s value proposition to targeted prospects in their respective territories with the objective of securing “win-win” contractual relationships. This is a direct sales position, targeting Fortune 500 enterprise accounts. The deal candidate will have a healthy Rolodex of senior level decision makers that are overseeing corporate payroll department.

The VP Sales divides his/her time as follows: 90% – prospecting, promoting, and closing new business; 10% – administrative responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect new business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and close new business
  • Procure, schedule, and conduct compelling sales calls (remote and onsite)
  • Build and maintain pipeline of new business at established standards
  • Work collaboratively with other internal departments to achieve desired results
  • Maintain accurate CRM system hygiene, including updating activities and account stats
  • Establish productive, face-to-face relationships
  • Leverage existing contacts within the Fortune 500 space to sell paycard solutions into their payroll department
  • Meet or exceed new business sales quota in assigned territory

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ enterprise sales experience in Payroll, Fintech, or SaaS
    • ‘President’s Club’ or equivalent desired
    • Fintech experience a plus, but not required
  • Demonstrated success and experience with:
    • Creating and building trusting relationships with C-level executives
    • Segmenting, targeting, and actively penetrating new prospects
    • Delivering strategic creative, and compelling presentations
    • Hunting new opportunities and closing new revenue generating contracts
  • Proven individual traits and abilities that include:
    • Engaging, persuasive public speaking informal group and individual settings
    • Individual independence, self-motivation and strong work ethic
    • Compelling presentation, negotiation, and empathic listening skills
    • Disciplined an accountable to reliably achieve goals and forecasts
    • Adaptability, creativity and an entrepreneurial spirit
